REGENT THEATRE.
Bumper houses are enjoying the musical comedy, "The Cocoanuts," starring the Four Marx Brothers, all of them great mirth-provokcrs, Mary Baton and Oscar Shaw, and no less than 100 Zlegfeld dancing beauties. Mary Eaton dances and slng3 her way into every heart, and Oscar Shaw's tuneful yet powerful voice is also a delight. The thems song, "When My Dreams Come True," is particularly tuneful and pleasing, as also are the other song numbers, all composed by Irvine Berlin; and the songs and the dainty solo and duo dances, and the charmlne ballets, unite with the extremely clever fooling of the Marx Brothers to make this sound-screen version of the popular Broadway musical comedy bo great a success. Tho Marx Brothers, besides being comedians of the first rank, are also able musicians, Harpo especially excelling on the harp whilo Chlca Is an accomplished pianist. The' scene of the comedy Is set In Florida With Oscar Shaw as the hero and Mary Eaton as heroine, tba love-Interest, too. Is by no means lacking. Tho supporting fllmß include a particularly interesting sound-picture news reel, depicting, amongst other things, the wedding of ex-President Coolldgo's son and a mosc exciting Wild West Rodeo: This croat programme is screened thrice daily.
