ARCHBISHOP REDWOOD
RECEPTION AT TIMARU
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ■;'. TIMARU, 27th November. A civic reception to-day was accorded Archbishop Redwood, of Wellington, Bishop Brodie (Christchureh), Bishop White (Dunedin), and other clergy, who are visiting Tmaru in connection with the jubilee of the Convent of the Sacred Heart. There was a very large attendance of the- public. Archbishop Redwood, who is the senior bishop of the world, laid tho foundation-stone of the convent on Ist February, 18S0. In the evening the parishioners presented Father Peoples, S.M., with an illuminated address on the occasion of the silver jubilee of his ordination to the priesthood.
