PETONE ROSE SHOW.
The summer Rose Show of the St. David's Petone Horticultural Society is to be held to-morrow afternoon and evening in the Labour Hall, Beach street, Petone. The official opening ceremony will be performed at 2.15 p.m. by the Mayor of Petone (Mr. D. M'Kenzie), and the show will be open from 2 till 5, and from 6 till 9.30. There will be open, amateur, and children's classes, and also sections for decorations, cut flowers, and home industries. Refreshments and sweets will be available.
