(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. At the annual meeting of the council of Marine Engineers, the following officers were elected:-President. Mr. 11. \V. Carpenter; vice-president, Sir. W. J. Galloway; treasurer, Mr. T. H. King; hon. secretary and adviser to the council, Mr. Galloway; secretary, Mr. W. Somerville.
