SHORTT'S THEATRE.
"Where East is East," 'which is-belng* shown at Shortt's Theatre, is laid in tlie jungles of Siam. J^on Chancy plays the role of "Tiger" Haynes, jtrapper of wild beasts in his jangle fastness; and here, with the one love of his life, his, daughter, played by Lupe Vetez/'ho dwells in comparative peace until another woman comes into their lives. Estelle Taylor plays this role. The triangle turns Into an astounding: plot. Lloyd Hughes plays the romantic lead as the young Westerner visiting the tropics. The second attraction is "Hold 'Em Tale," featuring Rod La -Itocque and Jearinettc Loff. ■■, It ■. is the story of- a South American's adventures at the famous university.
