PIANOFORTE RECITAL.
An attractive programme Is to bo presented at the forthcoming pianoforte recital to be given by pupils of. Miss Valeric Corliss. The list of composers ranges from the period of Jbil to that.or the present day, and includes many nationalities—English, French, German Russian, Finnish, and Hungarian; Tho programme has been1 arranged with a' happy consideration of variety and balance, and while the works to ba performed include! a number of well-known compositions, there is besides a refreshing" list, seldom : heard in the concert halL Tho students , who are to present this interesting programme are in some instances already known to Wellington audiences, who havo shown much enthusiasm over the art of these pianists.' Those who attend this recital aro promised an evening of delightful music. The proceeds will be given to the Residential Nursery, Women's National Reserve.
