■RUSSIA'S HUGE BUDGET
(Received 14th November, 2.30 p.m.) MOSCOW, 13th November.
What is claimed to be the world's largest Budget has been passed by the Council of People's Commissars. It amounts to £1,139,000,000 an 'increase of 339 millions over last year's. The Budget includes £374,000,000 for developing State industries, from which revenue amounting to £82,000,000 is expected—three times last year's revenue.
It is estimated that direct and indirect taxation will yield £500,000,000.
