AUSTRALIAN WOOL LIMITS.
At a joint conference between representatives of the Australian Woolgrowers' Council and the National C'ouncil-of Woolselling Brokers.of. Australia, held at the Wool Exchange, Melbourne, on.2StU October, after full consideration had been given from every angle to the present wool position, it was unanimously agreed to reaffirm the decision arrived at in Sydney on the Bth October, whereby the allocations throughout Australia fror 17tk October to the end of December were reduced bye33,'l^3 per cent., subject to slightly preferential treatment to the Brisbane centre to the extent of 14,000 bales. It was further decided that the offerings of the balance of the clip, after Christmas, will lie spread evenly as far as possible to 30th Sune, 1930. It was also decided, to review '$he estimates at the end of November.
