DISTRESSING ACCIDENT

HASTINGS, This Day. a clistrcssmg accident occurred last night during Guy IPawkes celebrations on Nelson Park. Gordon Peterson, aged ■irf years, set light to what he thought was a -Rom-M canaie, but which proved to be a bomb. The explosion blew off tour fingers and his left hand, and injured his left eye seriously. The boy also, deceived scalp wounds, and was admitted to the hospital
