INVESTITURE
At Government House, this morning, His Excellency the Governor-Gen-eral presented to the Hon. Sir Alexander Herdman, Judge of the Supreme Court, and to Sir Henry Bucklcton, General Manager of the Bank of New Zealand, the Royal Letters Patent conferring upon them the honour of Knight Bachelor.
His, Excellency also presented Insignia and, Decorations to the following:— C.M.G. —Dr. Leonard Cockayne, Ph. ,D.,.1?.R.5., and Mr. R. E. Hayes, 1.5.0., Paymaster-General and Secretary to. the Treasury.
