DEVONSHIRE SOCIETY FORMED
A meeting of Devonians was convened by Mr. K E. Mauley at Druids' Chambers on Thursday evening, and a large number attended. It was decided to form a society to be called the Devonshire Society. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Mauley, and a committe was set up to draft rules, to bo submitted at a general meeting to be held in about a fortnight, when the election of a committee wil take ■'nee. Apart from those present, a number of apologies was received from people unable to attend, and ■ each signified his desire to become a member of the society.
