THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY. 19, Marion street (near Te Aro P.0.); LANTERN LECTURE. LANTERN LECTURE. LANTERN LECTURE. THE WORLD-WIDE EVANGELISATION CRUSADE. INTERNATIONAL AND INTER- . DENOMINATIONAL. - •MISS MERBURY, representing the tl- above-mentioned Mission, of which Mr. C. T. Studd is the Founder and President will (D.V.) give a Lantern Lecture on the story of the founding of this great Crusade into the Heart of Africa, NorthEast Belgian Congo, the Heart of Amazonia, and the Heart of Asia, in the Kent Terrace Presbyterian Church Sunday School Hall on WEDNESDAY, 30th OCTOBER, at 7.30 p.m. The story will be illustrated bv a splendid set of Lantern Slides of Africa, Amazonia, and Central Asia. Eriends from Auckland, where Miss Merbury has lately addressed several meetings, tell us that she is an exceedingly fine, gifted speaker, and a deeply spiritual woman. Mr. Studd recognises three undeniable facts: — (1) The Evangelisation of the whole world has not been accomplished. (2) It ought to be done. (3) It can be done. The MOTTO which he has given for tint Crusade is:—lf Jesus Christ be God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him. He allows no collection for this work W be taken up at any meeting held or orga* msed by the Crusade. If we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness we have the Word of Christ that God will supply all our needs. All interested in Mission Work are cordially invited to the Lecture. .' REV.
