Next day he had been found work, and had, been'.at that positioa ever since. The: 'accuse, bad'sought out the police shortly afterward.'and made a statement in .which-he said that he could give no; reason why the boy should leave him. \ The: accused had given him a good character, and had said that he had been well treated.
