Last week-end, one of the semi-finals of the senior championship was played. A. G. Flanagan met I. Davis, and defeated rhim 5 and 4. The golf was of a very high standard indeed, and although Davis played the first round in 80 strokes, he was then 4 down. Flanagan now meets the winner of Butler and Cooke in the final.
In the junior championship W. S. Barr beat A. G. Radford 1 up at the nineteenth hole, and J. J. Thompson beat D. L. Harrower 4 and 3. Thompson now meets the winner of Barr and Clarke in tho final.
; Last. Saturday's bogey competition resulted in a tie between H. G. Robertson (18) and P. G. Williams (9), who both returned cards of 1 up. J. Burns (8) was next, 1 down. To-morrow the first eighteen holes of the 36-hole match for a trophy presented by J. D. M'lntosh will be played. This trophy is for gross scores only, handicaps not being taken into account. The remaining eighteen holes will be played on Saturday, 12th October.
