ISLAND BAY WAR MEMORIAL.
The band rotunda which is to be the Island Bay war, riiemorial will include marble tablets bearing the names of all soldiers and sailors wno served in the war and were residents of the district at the date of their enlistment. The Memorial Committee desires that these tablets should furnish a complete record, and an appeal' is therefore being made to past and present residents to assist in the compilation. .Relatives and friends of the men from the district who served are asked to send to Mr. H. H. Milier, 92, Manners street, particulars of service, including the full «name of the soldier or sailor, rank, regiment, number, and other necessary information.
