THEFT OF MONEY.

At the ' Police Court, William Arthur Scott was charged with the theft of 'different sums'" of money, totalling £41, the property of Margaret O'Connor, at Auckland. • The police stated that last year the ac-cused-was associated with a dancing school in Auckland run by two sisters. He was given the money to deposit in the bank on their behalf; but spent it instead. He had made restitution of £11.
