JOHNSONVILLE SALE
Messrs. Wright, Stephcnson, and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville sale, held yesterday, as follows:—"To the usual attendance of buyers we submitted a full yarding of all classes of utoek. The quality of. the cattle offered was not up to the usual standard. Cattle sold on a par with last week's rates. Vealers net with, a ready sale. Sheep were slightly easier than last week. Spring lambs met with a keen demand. We quote: Extra heavy bullocks, £18 10s, £18 15s £19; heavy bullocks, £16 15s, £17 £ij 5*% £ <,17 o '}oa; medium and. light bullocks, £13 2s 6d, £14 ss, £15; heavy cows, £12 £12 10s, £13; cows, £10, £11, £11 ss - heifers, £12 and £12 10s; heavy-wether/ 395, 39s 6d, and 40s; medium wethers, 37s 6d; heavy ewes, 345, 355, 35s 9d, and 37shoggets (good), 34s 6d and 355; spring lambs, 32s Cd, 33s 6d, and 34s Gd"
