BLASTING FATALITY

,-yr, -." GISBOBNE, This Day. William Arthur Eves, a married man residing at Gisborne,. was killed at Waioeka Valley this morning while engaged m blasting operations. The oaeet of a shot was apparently more severe than had been anticipated, and the deceased was struck" on the head by flying metal. Ho succumbed within a few minutes.
