The threatened conflict between China and Russia now appears to have shifted to a series of clashes between Whites and Reds along the border, the former adopting guerilla warfare, and by ambushing small parties ,of Reds in isolated districts. It is reported that a' hundred Whites were trapped by the fVeds in a village north of Vladivostok. All were wounded or killed.
The departure of the Chinese delegation to Manchuli to-day for the purpose of negotiating with the Soviet is confirmed from Chinese foreign official sources.
