Two mystery pictures are now being shown at the Britannia, Theatre The first is "The Forger.' the 01m version of the well-known Edgar Wallaco story A skilful forger, known as "The Clever One." eludes the police who become, baffled and suspect many Innocent peop.e. " There Is an amazing climax Lilian Blcn. Nigel Barrle and James Raglan are In the cast. ■ Spiritualistic seances ghosts slid Ing panels, and secret passage ways are the features of a nouse of mystery settlnus in "A Thief In tho Daik," a circus cnmcd.v-melo drama. The chief roles are taken by George Meeker and Majorle Beebe. The picture deals with a gang of circus side-show crooks, who "raise" the spirits of the departed and reap a harvest from their credulous victims.
