RUGBY IN THE SOUTH
HAZLETT PLAYING AGAIN
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evoning Post.") DUXEDIN, This Day. Big Bill Ilazlett, one of the star forwards of the New Zealand team in South Africa last .season, has emerged from country football to take part in the representative games this season, and he captained Southland against the Maoris last week. He will play in both the Otago games, but it is unlikely that Hazlelt will travel north with the Southland team. It is probable, however, he will be available for matches against the British team next season, and that being so he has only to reproduce his old form to be one of New Zealand's first chosen.
The Otago team to play Southland at Invercargill next Wednesday will be weak ened through Stevenson, M'Clymunt, and M'Lean being unable to make the trip.
