NEW ZEALAND MADE GOODS
(To the Editor.) Sir,—When visiting the Winter Show a few evenings ago, I was pleased to sel displayed such slogans as "Buy New Zea* land-made goods" and "Support the country that supports you." I thought tha Winter Show organisation truly patriotic, but what a surprise when I reached that section wherein is displayed the school embroidery and needlework exhibits, etc., to see about twenty showcases made from imported timbers. Surely there is plenty of New Zealand timbers Buitable and available for the job. After seeing thew I came to the conchtsion that the motto of the Winter Show Society must be* "Do as I say, not as I do."—l am, etc./ v N.Z. WOODWORKER.
