WATERLOO CUP FINAL (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, 26th July. The third and final day of the New Zealand Waterloo Oup Meeting was held at Southland racecourse this afternoon. The couditions were ideal and there was a good attendance. Results:— Waterloo Cup. Semi-final: Dowling Bros.' Lupin beat 6. Millar's Lucky Laddie. Lupin led up by a length and scored 2 points for the opening. He then wrenched and turned the hare on to Lucky Laddie, who killed. The points awarded were: Lupin 2%j Lucky Laddie 2. Comedy Princess ran a bye. Final: Dowling Bros.' Lupin beat J. Rattray's Comedy Princess. Lupin showed superior 6peed from the slip and scored 2 points from the opening. He i got in two turns and the hare ran to cover. Points: 4- to nil. ' | Purse. j Final: Smith Bros.' Orangapai beat J j H. Thomson and W. Clark's Prince of Picardy. Plate. Final: Miss O'Connor's Lance Micawber beat T. W. Lee's Rosie Mac.
