HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
Some very clever sketches are included In this week's programme at His Majesty's Theatre. A little drama presented in turn as a modern talkie, a slow motion picture, and an ultralapid picture, is very cleverly done. "A Romancing Digger" presents Pat Hanna as a veteran of the future telling a sympathetic listener how he taught the Royal Palace the game of "two up" in 1918. The concluding sketch is one of the typical "digger" efforts.. It tells of the adventures of "Chic" and "Joe." played by Pat Hanna and Joe ValH, when they found themselves stranded in London without the necessary cash to enjoy their leave, and were consequently packed off to a private home in Essex. Their stories of goanna ami kiwi farms are inimitably funny, lv support there aro songs by Iza Crosslcy, Adelo Taylor. Jock Thomson, and Ernest Kopke, and rt clever and attractive ballet. Some very attractive stago presentations aro given with songs and dances.
