SARAH HURFORD AMES (Deceased).
The late Mrs. Sarah Hurfprd Ames, by her ivill directed that part of the annual income from her residuary estate is to be annually distributed to homes and other institutions in the city and suburbs of Wellington, established and conducted for the care and welfare of aged and infirm persons of either sex. ' The Public i Trustee, who is administering Mrs. Ames's estate, is anxious to ensure that all eligible institutions entitled shall participate in the bequest, . and for this ■ purpose is arranging for applications on behalf of such institutions to be submitted to him. An advertisement calling for such, applications appears in the columns of this i paper-.
