The railway tiacks were somewhat dislocated, and the haulage of coal from the mine's of c IVc.stport Coal Company had to be reduced from about sixty trucks a day to less than half that number. The loading i, the steamers was also reduced, since the watcrsidors decided to knock off every afternoon at o o'clock to as to be haiult n case of a sudden call for help. On top of those impediments, tliere came a howling blizzard.
The latest news, however, is o f these troubles abating. The weather was be* coming more bearable. The railway men have increased their haulage to forty trucks per day, and the watersidcrs were to iiave held a meeting yesterday afternoon to consider whether they 'can go back to longer hours. '
