Australian Press Association—United Smlcc.
, WASHINGTON, loth July. An increase of 15 to 25 cents per bushel m the price of wheat over last year is held to be a possibility by the Department of Agriculture in its crop condition report. The world carry-over of wheat, the report says; appears to be 100 to 125 million bushels m excess of the carry-over on Ist July of last year, but the weather and crop conditions to 12th July indicate the world's crop to be about 25 million bushels less than last year. This will leave the supply about 200 million bushels' less than last year.
WASHINGTON, 15th July. Ihe Canadian acreage sown in wheat this year is officially estimated at 24,305,300 acres, or 1 per cent, increase over that of last year. The condition of the wheat crop on 30th June in percentage of the average yield for the previous ten years is estimated at 88 per cent.
