ANOTHER LOCAL SHOCK
' Very minor secondary ' shocks are still recorded periodically by the seismographs at the Dominion Observatory, Kelburn, but these are mostly too slight to be perceptible. An exception, however, was a tremor fairly generally felt in Wellington at. about' 8.45 last nighjt. It gave hanging lamps a slight swinging motion, but was not at all severe." The time of its occurrence seems to coincide with that'of the fairly strong shock reported as having been felt in Greymouth and elsewhere. ■
