The Golden West, en route from Los Angeles, reports by radio that she expects to 5J ,T, c at Auckland to-morrow. She is due at Wellington about a week later. CARGO OF TIMBER. Chartered by Millar's West Australian Hardwoods Company Ltd., the Norwegian motorship Brand arrived at Auckland on Tuesday to commonce discharge of a cargo of Australian hardwoods loaded at Busselton and Bunbury, West Australia. After unloading her Auckland consignment the Brand proceeds to Wellington, where she is expected on about Wednesday to discharge approximately 1,000,----000 ft of timber. She will then proceed to Lyttelton and Dunedin. PERSONAL. Mr. J. S. Beardshaw has relieved Mr. A. Copland as second mate of the HolmdalD. Mr. G. Davles has Joined the Holmdale as third engineer, relieving Mr. G. Abernethjv who has been promoted' to second engineer relieving Mr. A. Murdoch. . TUTANEKAI'S MOVEMENTS. The Tiitanekai leaves Dog Island lighthouse to-day for Bluff, where she is due this afternoon. She will visit the local lighthouses and will leave on about Wednesday for the West Coast.
