THE MAYOR'S FUND

NOW OVER £5800

The Mayor's fund now totals £5830 13s 6d. The following, additional' contributions were acknowledged by MrC Troup.to-day:—

Contributions received by the Mayor are each day banked to the credit of the general relief fund, and the Secretary of the Treasury advised of the amounts so banked, so that the moneys received are immediately available for , expenditure through the central organisation upon relief measures.
