The sailing ship Archibald • Russell arrived at Cork, completing her voyage fron* Australia in ninety-four , days, easily beating the Beatrice, the Herzogin Ceeilie, and .the Lawhill. Assisted by good winds all the voyage, the Archibald Russell', passed the barquentine Mozart 2nd June, ; and the Finnish"! ship Penang three weeks ago. Both.sailed a month before the Archibald Russell.
The Archibald Eussell is asteel fourmasted barque, of 1354 tons, built in 1905, by Scott's, of Greenoch,; and owned by Ji Erijcsbn", of Mariehanin, Finland. The Beatrice is also af f ourmasted..barque, of 2104 tons, built in 1881, by Steele, of Greenoch; and owned: by Bederi A. B. Pollux, of Gothenburg, Sweden.- The Herzogin Cecilie, also a steel four-master,' of 3111 tons, was built by Biokmer }s at Bremerhaven, but is owned, like the Archibald Kussell, by Erikson's, of Mariehamn. The Lawhill is another four-master, 2816 tons, built by Thompson's, of Dundee, in 1852, and also owned by Erikson's. The Mozart, four-mast., barquentine, 1987 tons, built at Grangemouth, 1904, is another Erikson Bhip, as, is also the Penang, a steel ship; of 2019 tons, builtby Bickmer's. ;'•' "■"■• ".■■"• .-.'■
