SUNDAY CHARGES
The Mayor, has indicated that it is probable that the bylaw imposing Sunday charges for admission to the Newtown Zoo will come,into force on tho first Sunday in July, : The formalities ot advertising the bylaw, said Mr Iroup, had all been-complied with and the bylaw had now to be confirmed by the council. The Sunday charge is to be sixpence per head for all of fifteen years and over, children to be admitted tree as at present.
