A movement;, has been initiated to have Swanston. • Gottage—Kobert Louis Stevenson's home for- many yearsmade available as-a place of resort for lovers of the. author. The lat© Lord Guthrie J: who j was a college friend of Stevenson, was tenant of Swanston Cottage until about eight years ago, and he loved and preserved the place as only a friend could. The Corporation of Edinburgh then took it over,,aiid it is at present let to a private tenant. It is agreed that the fellowship shall approach the Corporation to see if" a lease can be granted them to acquire the pjaco as a Stevenson Memorial House.
