THE DUKE AND DUCHESS
TO VISIT THE DISCOVERY
ANTARCTIC EXPLORATION

RUGBY, Ist May. The Dominions Office announces that the Duke, and Duchess of York will pay a visit of inspection to the Eoyal Research ship Discovery, which is at present lying at the West India Docks, on the afternoon Of tlu 2nd May. Their Eoyal Highnesses will be conducted over the ship by Sir Douglas Mawson, leader of the expedition to tho Antarctic, for which the Discovery is now being reconditioned. Mr. Amery, the Dominions' Secretary, the High Commissioner for Australia, and a representative of the High Commissioner for New Zealand will also be present.
