On the ground that the Tolaga Bay Cottage Hospital is not providing an adequate service for the amount expended on it, tho Cook Hospital Board decided to-day to closo tho institution. The decision was i.rrivbd at after a prolonged discussion on a telegram from tho Minister of Health stating that he could not agree to the • application to close the institution, the board deciding on a policy of open tlofiar c of tho Minister by six votos to five.
