In contrast to the late Marshal Foeh's interment on Tuesday, the burial of the remains of General Sarrail at dcs Invalidcs to-day was simple and without pomp. M. Painl'eve, in a stirring oration, praised General Sarrail's stand before Veidun in 1914, also his bloodless liberation of Greece from domination.
