TITLE RETAINED

Australian Press Association. (Received 30th March, noon.)

CHICAGO, 29th March

Tommy Loughran retained the world's light-heavyweight championship when he received the decision in a tenround contest over Micky Walker, middleweight champion. The verdict, though popular, seemed to leave a difference of opinion among the onlookers and officials.

The fight was unexciting. For the most part Walker was tho more- aggressive. He landed damaging blows, and Loughran seemed decidedly less impressive than a year ago, being flighty and at one time groggy. He was desperately oiiftlie defensive.
