ESPERANTO.
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club took place last Tuesday evening in the Dominion Farmers' Institute. Mr. E. C. Jack presided over a good attendance of members. Tuition classes under the guidance of more expert members occupied the first part of the meeting, after which an interesting programme of Esperanto items was presented. Mr. Jack gave in .Esperanto the Irish tale of "The Gift of the O'Donaghue," followed by the amusing Esperanto reading by Mrs. Bertram Potts, entitled •'The Parson's Speech." The secretary, Mr. Bertram Potts, F.8.E.A., delivered an address in Esperanto on "The Astronomical Genius of Copernicus, Tycho Bvahe, and Galileo."
