The Metropolitan Trotting Club's Meeting opened in glorious weather. Tho track is in excellent order, and the attendance is large. Results:—
Preliminary Handicap (harness), of 300 soys; 3.43 class; one mile and a half.—s Bingen Star, scr, 1; 11 Great Amazon, scr, 2; 2 Bonny Belmont, 48yds behind, 3. Scratched: Western Voyage, Nelson M'Kinney. Won by two lengths. Time, 3min 33 l-ssec.
Fendalton Handicap, of 300 soys; one mile. —8 Bingen Lad, scr, 1; 5 Okoura, 12yds bhd, 2; 1 Loburn, scr, 3. Scratched: Harvest Phild, Chef, Double Event, General Bingen. Won by a length. Time, 2min 11 4-osec.
Easter Handicap, of 1000 soys; two miles.—2 Kiug Pointer, scr, 1; 1 Eoi Lor, scr, 2; 3 Quality, 24yds behind, 3. Scratched: Glideaway. Won by five lengths. Time, 4min 27scc.
