RICCARTON TRACK WORK

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHUR'CH, This Day. The weather was fine for the training at Riccarton. The inside of the trial grass track provided good going, but the plough was also fast. Oriflainb beat Lancer over a mile on the grass, in linin 45 2-ssec. Disorder, on a straight course, covered five furlongs on the plough in lmin 3sec. Paperchase did the last seven furlongs of a mile on the grass in lmin 31 2-ssec.

Prickles and Quarterdeck together, covered seven furlongs on the plough in lmin 32 l-ssec. Impertinence and Swoopaloug ran five furlongs on the plough in lmin 3 4-ssee. ' Noteworthy galloped six furlongs on the plough in lmiu 17sec. Hurly Burly covered six furlongs on the plough in lmin 17sec. Silver Coot sprinted six furlongs on the.plough in lmin 15 4-ssec. Boyal Saxon beat Bin Tin Tin over six furlongs on the grass in lmin 16 2-ssec. Bcrnera beat Seatown over five furlongs on the grass in lmin 5 l-sscc. Barneses and Aberfeldy went five furlongs on tho plough in lmin 3 4-ssec. Jumper ran four furlongs on the grass in 50sec. Starshooter •covered seven furlongs on the grass in lmin 31 2-ssec. After running ten furlonga Wrigley sprinted four furlongs up the back on the grass in 51 2-ssec. Pink Note ran a mile.on tho grass in lmin 44 l-ssec. My Own and Auda covered five furlongs on the grass in lmin 4 l-sseo. Silver Paper galloped four furlongs on the grass in 48see. Phastar and Hoylake took lmin 17 4-ssec for six furlongs on the plough. Battle Colours just beat Nightmarcb over a mile on the grass, the last six furlonga taking lmin 17 4-ssec. Caterpillar ran four furlongs on the grass in 48 3-ssec. Thorndale and Beau Geate did six furlongs on tho plough in lmin 18 2-5 see.

First Money and Blue Metal'easily beat Leading Boy over fivo furlongs on the grass in lmin * 3-ssec. Bonrose beat Thurso over five furlongs on the plough in lmin 3 2-ssec. Moy Hall beat Kentish Lady over five furlongs on the grass in lmin 3sec. Amor and Viscount galloped seven furlongs on the plough in lmin 32 4-5 sec.

Paper Boy and Amourette covered seven furlongs on the plough in liniu 31 2-ssec.

Arrowshield did throe furlongs oa the plough iii 36 2-ssec.

The Atom ran seven furlongs on the grass in lmin 32sec.

Proud Knight galloped five furlongi on the plough in lmin 4 3-sscc. Count Cavour and Eapier separately did easy work.

Booster sprinted four furlongs in 48 4-ssce.

Gay Sonnet covered four furlongs on the grass in 48 2-ssec.

Cimabue did a working gallop over six furlongs.

Great Star easily beat Bon Raid over three furlongs up the back grass in 36 4-ssee.
