SMITH WINS LAW SUIT
United Tress Associutiun—liy Electric TeleBrapu—Copyright, SYDNEY, 21st March. In the suit in which Henry Hitchcock claimed £1000 from Smith and Ulm for alleged breach of contract, the jury returned a verdict for defendants.
Hitchcock contended that it was agreed that he should assist in gathering funds for tho Pacific flight, and also that he should accompany the flyers, but waived his right on the understanding that he should bo paid £1000 on completion of the flight. Smith and Ulm denied the indebtedness.
