HARDWARE ASSISTANTS' SPORTS.
On Saturday last the annual sports meeting of the Wellington Hardware Merchants' Assistauta' Guild was held at Seatoun Park. The weather conditions -were ideal, and owing to the large number of entries received competition was very I keen, providing the spectators with a good afternoon's amusement. The cup allotted to the firm gaining the most points was won by J. Duthie and Co., who also retain the relay cup for one year._ J. M'Couchie was successful in winning the cup awarded to the competitor gaining the most points during the afternoon.
