Reminders. Acceptances for the Auckland Easter Meeting and final payments for the Oaks, Champagne Stake.o), and St. Leger are due to-day at 5 p.m. Acceptances for the Wairarapa aud Feilding Meetings are due on Monday. Commendation Out. Although it is understood Commendation pleased his owner at Awapuni by his race in the Gold Cup, he showed he was not the Commendation of his three-year-old career. He is to be given another spell and will not be raced again this season. Commendation may come back and win races, but it is unlikely that he will ever be top class again. Powerful Stables Without Representatives. Neither Mr. G. M. Currie uor Mr. T. H. Lowry will have horses to carry his colours at the Easter Meetings. The lameness of Gascony after the Mauawatu Stakes yesterday, and the fact that Great Charter is also under suspicion, leaves Mr. Lowry without a class horse. Mr. Cur-, rie's good two-year-old Ceremony will not nice again this season owing to his injured knee, and Lysander's form is not good enough to warrant sending him to nice at Ellerslie. Bright Glow for Ellerslie. Bright Glow is to race at Ellerslie at Easter. The Auckland Racing Club's handieapper has decided not to penalise the Hnwera mare for her Auckland engagements. Mendip, also from J. l'Yyer s stable, was intended for Riccarton, but his owner, Mr. H. Spratt, stated at Aimpuni that as his horse had had a Btrenu* cms season and was showing signs of )t, lie would give him a good spell. Seatown. Whether Seatcwir will race at KHcn-iie or Riccartou haa yet to be decided. Ho has missed a rehandicnp in Auckland like Bright Glow, and it do|jends how the C J.C. handicapper treats him in regard to a rehandicap. Mr. J. Frederick, his owner, stated yesterday that ho favoured the Auckland Meeting, but all depended on the prospects of the two place*. feeatown looks like his old self now, and a vastly improved horse to what he waa at the Midsummer Meetings. Ho won very impressively at Awapnni yesterday. He had been doing as good track work at Stratford as Yoma did prior to Ins succession of victories at Trentham, and on the Taranaki circuit a month or so ago so that his connections were prepared for his good showing at Awapuni. Sapient Disposod Of. Mr. Vivian Riddiford has disposed of (he Kilbroncy filly Sapient to the West Coaster Mr, P. Webb, and the two-year-old raced in her new owner s interests at Awapuni, but without success. She is to he trained in future by Nelson Price at Uangiora, a man who has done exceptionally well with Jmsound pacers and trotters arid-horses 'who.'can be- esilledneculiar. Sapient has ' undoubted pace, and being a Kilbroncy, with age and pafieuee she might develop into a really good performer. 1 Footfall. The withdrawal of I'ooli'all from' his engagements at Riccarton wag duo to soreness. He was, not actually lame, but his trainer, G. Murray Aynsley, deemed it wise to throw him out of work rather than risk a complete breakdown. Footfall will be .blistered and turned out for a long spell. He will be allowed to miss next season altogether, but will be taken in hand again next autumn, in the hope that a year's complete rest will cause his legs to harden up sufficiently to enable him to get through a severe preparation without any trouble.

Red Heckle Out for the Season. P. Christmas arrived home on Wednesday with Red Heckle. The three-year-old did not race up to expectations in the New Zealand St. Leger, and lie will not •ho required to race again this season. He has required careful handling, but it is hoped that after a spell ho will develop into a solid performer of class next season.

Tiega for Hurdle Races. Mrs. 31. A. Perry has made arrangements with Mrs. Alan M'Donald, of AwajJuui, to have Tiega schooled, and t3ie gelding was forwarded to his new home la,et week. He has had a long let-up, with the result that the son of Kilboy and' Queen Lizzie looks in great heart. He is just the sort for a hurdle horse, as he has plenty of size and pace. It is only a question of taking to the new departure kindly for him to turn out satisfactorily at the jumping business.
