Ollcmler.s• against tho bylaws wen; dealt with in tho Magistrate's Court yesterday by Mr. T. B. M'Ncil, S.jM. .Speeding cost John Beattio £3. and Frank Kadelitl'e. and Francis Shearer £2 each.
Fines of JJI each were .imposed 0" Leslie Morris, for failing to obtain a stand license; Kenneth N. Clark, for cutting a corner; Peter M'Ohee, for not having a warning device on his motor-cycle; and Roy G. Barnard, tor allowing refuse likely to harbour rats to accumulate.
Frank G. Barker, Thomas Novris, and Darcy Smith were each fined 10s for leaving their cars unattended.
For riding his motor-cycle in a manlier dangerous to the public, James C. M'Kay was fined £2 and a further 10s for having no warning device. Failure to register his bakehouse cost Thomas Brierlcy 10s. Arthur Baker and Harold llollliimse, for parking-their vehicles more Ihan twelve inches from the kerb, were lined 10s each.
