Australian Press Association—Uultcd Scrvico.

(Received "2nd March, 2 p.m.)

MIAMI BEACH, 21st March,

. Miss America VII., entering the final heat of the challenge race to-day, upgotiatcd all six laps far ahead of Major Segrave's Miss England, averaging approximately sixty miles an hour. Segravo entered to-day with Miss England damaged in eighteen places from yesterday's race, and therefore made no attempt to do moro than loaf about tho course, and developed leaks while doing that. However, on the point system of scoring yesterday Segraye made two points for finishing, while Wood, unable to finish, scored nothing. To-day Wood won the race for two points, but Segravo finished tho course without attempting to race Wood, and made one point, totalling three to Wood's two for tho eutiro race. Segrave averaged a little over 42 miles an hour to-day, barely creeping in tho final lap, for Miss England was leaking throughout tho race.
