CANBERRA, 12th March. Three hundred delegates from all parts of Australia-are present at the second annual coS|ercnee of the sixtyfifth district Rotary International.

The Prime Minister, who opened the conference, expressed the opinion that Eotary would become a great force in the world.

Mr. J. Gentles, of Auckland, delivered greetings from New Zealand districts.

Other districts also sent greetings, and many from foreign nations were read. The conference then became "pally," as is the custom of Rotariaus, delegates addressing one another by their Christian names.
