BYRD'S SHIPS
TO WINTER IN PORT CHALMERS

DUNEDIN, This Day.
It has now been decided that tho Byrd Expedition vessels, the Eleanor Boiling and the City of New York, will winter at Port Chalmers. A number of the crews is returning to America. The dogs will probably bo sent to Quail Island, Lyttelton, for a time. They will later bo taken to Mount Cook or the Franz Josef Glacier for training.
