ARTCRAFT THEATRE.
"Sadie Thompson," Gloria Swanson's sue-' cessful plcturo, which is being shown at the Artcraft Theatre, is based on one of the most widely discussed stories of recent years, "Miss Thompson,", by W. Somerset Maugham. It Is the story of a tremendous emotional conflict between an outcast of San Francisco's -..underworld, and a rc'formor. The picture-was directed by Haoul Walsh, who also plays the role of the Marino Sergeant O'Hara; 1 other members of the cast being Lionel Barrymore, Blanche Friderici, Charles Lane, Florence Midgley, James A.' Marcus, and Will- Stanton. Among tho' supporting, pictures, is ah episode of'the new "Greater Collegians."
