Australian I'rees Aaaoclatlon.
(Received 14th February, 10 a.m.)
WASHINGTON, 13th February. President Coolicige signed the Cruiser Bill with little ceremony after a conference with the Congressional leaders concerning the ways and means to provide the necessary 50 million dollars in this and the next fiscal year. There was no official comment after the conference, but it is indicated that all leaders willing to co-operate with the President's wish rigidly to hold down the legislative appropriations in order to provide for the cruisors under the present Budget.
