OVERLOADING OF SHIPS
BOARD OF TRADE INQUIRY

Tho President of the Board of Trade stated in the Houie of Commons that tho reply from tho Shipowners' Association to the memoranda on tho overloading of ships, which was addressed to them by the board, showed a considerable measure of agreement with the board's suggestions and promised active co-operation and assistance. Arrangements would be made as' soon as possible for discussing the matter with the representatives of the association.
